What is Optisound

Optisound TV is a powerful subwoofer that combines with your existing TV speakers to enhance your viewing experience for movies, sports, games and TV programmes.

Just one single unit! Amplifier built in and no ugly speakers or wiring on show.

The new way to upgrade your TV to a surround sound system without the hassle or expense of 5.1.

As bass is not directional it appears that there is sound being produced in areas of the room other than just the TV, creating an immersive surround sound experience.

Optisound TV 5

The Optisound TV 5 subwoofer features a bandpass cabinet that provides higher efficiency than traditional speaker cabinets and also delivers deeper sound.
Analogue RCA inputs allow direct connection to a single device such as a Blu Ray player, satellite decoder or games console, additionally if the TV has an analogue RCA output it can connect directly to this so all devices connected to the TV can be output through the subwoofer.

Optisound TV 5 Digital

The Optisound TV 5 Digital features the same bandpass cabinet as the analogue TV 5.

Analogue RCA and optical digital input means that connection to any TV set is a simple plug and play matter which means that any device connected to the TV is output through the subwoofer. It is also possible to connect the TV 5 Digital to a single device if you prefer to use the subwoofer only for a specific device such as a Blu Ray player.

Optisound TV 6 Digital

The Optisound TV 6 Digital features a state of the art passive radiator bass reflex cabinet design that provides wide frequency response and smooth bass response.

The TV 6 Digital features the same analogue and digital input as the TV 5 digital and also adds a frequency switch that allows the frequency range of the subwoofer to be changed. The 50 Hz setting is ideal for large TV’s while the 80 Hz setting is perfect for small ones.

Installation

The VIBE Optisound has been designed to deliver great sound from almost any location. Placing the tv and Optisound in the corner of the room will further increase the sound produced. Plug & Play straight out of the box. Optisound is easy to install in under two minutes using the supplied cable.
